We are always looking for SHOW Potential homes. Whether you are seasoned show person or new to the sport we do require all PLK Bolonka be placed on a co-ownership with PLK as the primary owner until contract conditions are met. [this is due to a few bad experiences]
It is our goal to mentor and guide you to give the PLK Bolonka the best chance at placement when exhibited. We will guide you on the proper BOLONKA Coat care and diet to promote healthy coat and skin optimizing your chance of the highest placement. This breeds coat is like no other breed and requires care to give them the desired look in the ring. [the coat is not like a Havanese or Shih Tzu} Must feel it to understand it.
Show potential pups are not chosen or placed in new homes until they have started to change teeth which is about 16-18 weeks. This allows us to determine how the bite will turn out. We will not place a pup in a home that we would not show ourselves. We want you to have the best chance at placement so we are going to ask that you trust and listen to our guidance.
When placed, the pup will be very used to the show lead/collar, the crate as well as being groomed for show. We do being stack training early so they get used to it.
We provide 3 complete vaccinations by our veterinarian with exception of rabies which we do not do until they are over 6lbs. They are dewormed and fed a RAW diet with NuVet Plus Supplement added.

As a reputable breeder a lot of work and time go into each and every litter. We spend time researching just the right pair of dogs to produce quality, healthy puppies for companions as well as show. We want our pups to live well past 15 years. Showing, health testing and basic care when done properly is expensive. The price of the puppy reflects what has been spent to give you the best pup you can get. The price also includes a lifetime of mentorship. There is no cost to you for vaccinations with exception of Rabies when the pup is is age/size appropriate. Each dog in our breeding program has an OFA certification for health which allows us to guarantee against genetic issues known for the breed.
All Puppies are held here at Pink Lotus until they are at least 12.5 weeks old. They are at a critical age, and this is when show potential pups are pulled.
As the breeder and person who has raised the puppies, we know them better than anyone. We understand their basic personality and can give you what you are looking for as this is a 15-18 yr commitment. Therefore we will pull out the pup we believe fits your dynamic and let you get to know that pup and decide if you agree.
We do have a contract that must be signed prior to the puppy leaving our home. We do believe that the pups growth plates must be given time to close and the puppy mature prior to spay/neuter. However, the AKC registration is placed in our name until such time the procedure has taken place and proof has been provided.
Yes all our pups visit the vet office at minimum 3 times prior to leaving our home. They are given age appropriate vaccinations and deworming per recommendation of our vet. A pre paid lifetime microchip is placed at 8 weeks of age for identification that is matched to their registration papers.

All pups have an pre paid AKC Mini ISO microchip placed with a 16 digit code that is registered to AKC Reunite and matched to the pups AKC registration
All pups are placed on a contract . We spell out Very clearly what is and is not covered under our guarantee and what is expected of the potential family in order for the contract to be binding for our guarantee. Contracts are to be signed in front of a notary.
Each pup placed has a 3 yr genetic health guarantee against any known conditions for the Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka. A copy of the parents OFA certifications are provided.
Each pup will receive at minimum three sets of puppy vaccinations as age appropriate issued by a licensed veterinarian. They will be dewormed and have parasite control.

All of our pups are started on house training starting at 3 weeks old. They are trained to use Artificial Turf, most of the pups go to it naturally and it makes it easy to train for outdoors. We use this while traveling so we don't have to stand in rain and cold for potty time.
To help you obtain additional information and meet others that have a Bolonka we will gift a 1 year membership to the Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka Club of America.
We firmly believe in helping others and love our dogs dearly, we will always take a dog back if it cannot be kept or at minimum assist in finding new placement. We will be here to assist in basic training and to answer questions that may arise.
We are willing to help those who want to get started in showing/exhibiting their Bolonka but not sure how to get started.
